What we shipped

Nodify Calendar 0.1.0 is our first public release: a local-first desktop calendar with on-device schedule autocompletion. It is built around a simple idea: you make the plan, and the algorithm figures out the details.

Instead of generating your week from scratch, Calendar starts with your intentions. Define schedules for work, study, or a project and place those hours on the calendar as explicit blocks. Assign tasks or entire lists to a schedule; the algorithm places the individual tasks inside those blocks. You plan the hours, not every task.

When plans change, run autocompletion again. Calendar rebuilds the unfinished part of the schedule while preserving completed work, fixed events, and the decisions you made by hand. Automation removes the repetitive placement work without taking control of the week away from you.

• On-device schedule autocompletion. A predictable, constraint-aware scheduling algorithm places tasks according to priorities, deadlines, durations, and the hours available in each schedule. There is no cloud computation or LLM in the loop, and scheduling continues to work offline.
• A complete weekly planning surface. Calendar, Tasks, Events, and Scheduling each have a dedicated space. Navigate between weeks, edit items directly on the grid, and drag or resize them as the plan changes.
• Multiple timezones. Pin several timezones beside the weekly grid, arrange them in the order you need, and give them your own labels when planning across locations.
• Task hierarchy. Organize work in folders and lists nested to any depth, so the structure can follow the project instead of forcing the project into a fixed shape.
• Hierarchical properties. Colors, schedules, durations, and autocompletion rules inherit through the task hierarchy and can be overridden where needed — like CSS for your plan.
• Recurring work and events. Create recurring tasks, events, and schedule windows, including changes that apply from one occurrence forward.
• Native desktop builds. Calendar ships for macOS on Apple Silicon and Intel, Windows on x64 and ARM64, and Linux on x64 and ARM64. Core data and schedule processing stay on the device.
• A date-aware app icon. The desktop icon shows the current day and month in your local timezone.

Built for ownership

• A perpetual early-adopter license. One $30 license activates up to three devices. Once activated, a device remains licensed while offline; losing a connection does not start a countdown to losing features.
• Signed updates for every installation. Update access is independent of license status, so compatibility and security fixes remain available even after a license is deactivated or refunded.

This is a local desktop release. It does not yet include mobile apps, cross-device sync, or integrations.
